Montenegro

Day 1- 3: Perast & Boka Bay

Meaning "black mountain" in Venetian, Montenegro is home to the southernmost fjord in Europe, dozens of Venetian era bell towers, churches and city walls and the oldest olive tree in the world. Renting a car is one of the best ways to explore Montenegro's history & beauty, and Boka Bay is the best place to establish your base. Drive to a carefully selected waterfront hotel and then spend your day in the tiny town of Perast, one of the best-preserved towns on the entire Adriatic coast. It is not only home to the first maritime school in the Balkans, but it has also been recognized by UNESCO for its cultural heritage.

Drive up to Risan and discover a 2,000 year-old Roman Mosaic depicting Hypnos- the Roman god of Slumber, and explore the glitzy town of Tivat where you can feast on freshly caught seafood at a seaside restaurant.
